The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This Screech Owl lives in a tree in a parking lot of a very busy marina. I had heard about this owl for a couple of years and can't tell you how shocked I was when I realized where this tree is. I had never been there before, but was told the owl can be found at the marina. There are many trails behind the marina and I wondered just how I was going to be lucky enough to find this owl.
